Believe In You Anyway
Believe in you anyway. Lately I’ve had a dip in energy and enthusiasm for the goals and ideas that inspired me at the beginning of 2026. As January draws to a close, it’s common to feel a little deflated. The spark of New Year’s ideas flickers as everyday demands, unexpected illness, and the long stretch of winter sap our momentum. For me, the common enemy of self-doubt creeps in, clouding my vision and zapping my energy. So where do we go from here?
Believe Anyway
The answer that comes is the same that has come in every low spot I’ve experienced: Choose to believe. Tired? Sick? Believe in the possibilities anyway. When our efforts don’t bring the results we envisioned, review, evaluate, and choose to believe anyway. Choose not to give up, but instead to remember why you started.
Rekindle Motivation
- Practice Self-Compassion: Rest and recovery aren’t signs of weakness—they’re essential for growth. Believe that honoring your limits empowers you to serve your purpose better.
- Connect with Others: Share your journey with those you trust. Community uplifts, reminds us of our strengths, and helps us see our mission through fresh eyes.
- Embrace Small Wins: Every accomplishment counts. Celebrate what you achieve, and let each win reinforce your belief in your value.
- Seek Sunlight and Movement: Nurture your mind and body. Movement and fresh air can renew your outlook and restore your passion for your goals.
Believe in You
The end of January is not the end of your ambitions. The world needs the ideas and passions that only you can offer. By believing in your worth and the importance of your path, the clouds of doubt can lift.
Press on—your journey is not only worthwhile, it’s necessary.
Love this cheer-full advice so much! It reminds me of Martina McBride’s great country song, “Believe It Anyway.”
You can spend your whole life buildin’
Somethin’ from nothin’
One storm can come and blow it all away
Build it anyway
You can chase a dream
That seems so out of reach
And you know it might not ever come your way
Dream it anyway
God is great, but sometimes life ain’t good
And when I pray
It doesn’t always turn out like I think it should
But I do it anyway, I do it anyway.
Sorry! Lyrics continued:
This world’s gone crazy
It’s hard to believe
That tomorrow will be better than today
Believe it anyway
You can love someone with all your heart
For all the right reasons
In a moment they can choose to walk away
Love ’em anyway
God is great
But sometimes life ain’t good
And when I pray
It doesn’t always turn out like I think it should
But I do it anyway
Yeah, I do it anyway, yeah, yeah
You can pour your soul out singing
A song you believe in
That tomorrow they’ll forget you ever sing
Sing it anyway
Hey, I sing it anyway! Yeah, yeah
I sing
I dream
I love
Oh, anyway, yeah
Great song, Cindy! Thanks so much for sharing it.
